Chris, Dale and Ryan Porter and Chasity Barger can help you select furniture that is built to last, at prices you can afford. They are having a red tag sale to make room for new inventory that is coming in. In addition, they have some brand new inventory from Vietnam, including some gorgeous Vietnamese lacquer paintings and various sizes of large glazed ceramic planter pots that are also very distinctive.
"We specialize in imported, solid mahogany furniture and antique reproductions. These are pieces that are built like antiques were, so that a hundred years from now THEY will be antiques", says Ryan. They also carry a line of Restonic mattresses, which are only available in a few places in the Rogue Valley. These are award winning, "best buy" mattresses of unsurpassed quality.
"We sell unique products and we specialize in dark woods. We're different from mainstream stores because we do whatever it takes to make our customers happy. We know that word of mouth advertising is key to our success." This is a business that appreciates repeat customers. "Chasity started out as a customer and we liked her so much that she became an employee", Ryan jokes. This friendly, family run business has been in the Rogue Valley for about three years.
Much of the furniture you will discover at Legends are imports and the Porter family takes great effort at maintaining close ties to some of the companies they purchase from. Recently they were engaged with the Medford Rotary Club and a program that brought a safe drinking water system to a company they purchase from in Vietnam. Dale has visited Singapore and keeps close relationships with their vendors to ensure that every product is of the highest quality. "We like to work with builders too", Ryan says. "In fact we have some marble we are expecting in soon that would be great for custom homes."
Interior designers will tell you that by sticking with classic designs and adding some small personal touches of your own, you will create a home that will never go out of style. Even just focusing on replacing one or two larger items in your home such as a new entertainment center or table can achieve a great new look without breaking your family budget. Rather than buying something you will want to replace in a few years, you can invest in something that will last for decades."Many people do not realize that solid wood furniture is actually fairly light in comparison to particle board. Once solid wood is dry, it is light and much stronger than particle board too," says Ryan. Not only are solid woods beautiful to look at, but they can be a smart investment as well.
Legends offers six months, same as cash financing through Wells Fargo. Visit their showroom on Crater Lake Avenue and see their collection of ornate mirrors, entertainment centers and Asian marble tables as well as many other fine furnishings for your home and you are sure to walk away with some great decorating ideas as well.
