Legit Online Extra Cash

Josh Street
I've compiled a list of proven, legit ways to make extra cash online. No never-ending loops and all have been verified that they pay. There may not be a lot but there will be more and they are scarce.

One of the first things you're going to want to do is make sure you can receive payments. The two main forms of payment will come in paypal and checks. If your going to be doing offer sites, which will be explained later if you don't already know, you should have a disposable credit card. You'll spend maybe $30-40 on a prepaid card from Walgreens, empty it paying for trials, and get back $100-200 in offer rewards, a worthy investment.

Well, everyone is talking about selling on eBay. If you don't know how yet just go to your library and look for books on eBay. Don't pay for secrets on how to get rich or other useless eBooks, it's hardly a good use of money. Just go make an account, get a paypal account, and start selling. You'll need to be good at describing things, packaging them up, and maintaining customer satisfaction, but it isn't that hard. Go to a yard sale and look for stuff you could sell. Ebaying is one of the most profitable things that you can get into for no money down and learn all about without spending a penny. You actually have to do something, though, so lazy people won't cut it.

One of the best sites for a part time freelance job is associated content at http://www.associatedcontent.com/join.html?refer=46774. You can pretty much write about anything you want. If you go non-exclusive, meaning AC doesn't have sole rights to the article and you can also try to sell the article to helium or shvoong.com, you get paid less, though. I like AC the best because they are the best, but I suppose you could do well selling to all three. You can make a pretty penny selling on AC alone if you just write constantly. Not bad. They pay out through paypal and don't have any sort of verification system that would bother your sense of privacy. It usually takes under a business week to get your submission approved and get paid.

Mechanical Turking is on Amazon, so you know they are legit. However, you get a few cents for answering simple questions like "How would you describe this site" several dollars for transcribing a podcast. This can add up smoothly if you keep at it, especially if you make use of . The idea is that businesses can have people do things that bots can't, even if it's a few cents at a time.

You may or may not have heard of "Moola". The website states "There are 30 levels. At level 1, you start with a single penny, provided free, and gamble it against someone else at level one. If you win, you get their penny and go on to level 2, gambling with 2 pennies, and the winner gets 4 cents and advances to level 3." Obviously this doubling goes up exponentially with tens of thousands of dollars up to a million. However, you're never going to find anyone to play against at those levels. So you're stuck to play in the lower levels, which can still make you a few bucks. It's really easy, yet very addictive, and sometimes frustrating. On top of that, you can withdraw your money any time you have over $10. Once you cash out, they will send you a check in the mail.

You can also open up a store on cafépress.com and sell t-shirts and other apparel. I personally haven't done it but it could be worth it if you get some good merchandise and advertise a little bit. I'm not going to go into detail since it can be easily looked up and I don't do these two but you can sell stuff on Amazon.com and if you have a blog you can do Adsense and try and get some cash from that.

Selling web hosting can be quite profitable. You can sign up with host gator and get a reseller's account. It costs hardly anything. You'll pay a set fee for space and bandwidth, and have access to hundreds of tutorials and guides that will show you how to make money as a webhost. This is the most "business" type way to make money on my site. It will take time and work, but the profit you can make is well worth it. Think about it like this, you sign on five people. We're not even talking about internet marketing at this point, just five people in your city that want a website. Those five people could pay you anything from $5 to $20 per month. Let's say you go with $20. That's one hundred dollars, each month, every month, as long as they're happy with your service! You can get a LOT more than five people, although probably not all of them will want to pay $20. Imagine having two hundred customers (this will take you maybe 6-8 months) all paying you $10 per month! Your costs with Hostgator will remain low, and you'll be making ridiculous amounts of money. At that point though, you would be devoting 6+ hours a day to maintaining the host. To turn the serious profit, you need to invest time.

Before starting on offer sites, I suggest you get a rechargeable credit card and a spare email account to catch spam that you will certainly get. I want to state that to truely profit from offer sites, you will want to go for the offers that pay you $20-60 dollars for ordering a "trial offer" that costs you $4-9. This is one of the only things that require you to spend a little money to make money. You can do things like complete surveys and opt for more profitable offers that require a payment for shipping of a 'trial' in exchange for you getting a good amount of cash. The benefit of the prepaid credit card is that once the trials expire your card will already be drained and you won't have to worry about companies continually charging your card even after you cancel. There are only a few offer sites that you will actually want to deal with. I'm sure you're familiar with the 'free ipod' sites that had their heyday a few years ago. You see the banner ads where you're encouraged to hit the fly with a swatter in order to win a free laptop.

Referral based sites require you to complete a single offer. Afterwards, you have to get other people to sign up under you and complete an offer themselves. Each successful completion counts as a referral for you until you can collect your reward, usually at a minimum of 3-5 referrals. They usually operate on the model of setting a limit before you can get your reward and making it difficult to reach that limit through tricks such as giving your last few referrals only very expensive "trial" offers to choose from. I will only recommend one referral based site. I recommend Zeropricetags, at http://www.zeropricetags.com/?REF=5943 ; )
Treasure Trooper doesn't spend a lot of money on webdesign, but it's operated very professionally. This site has the widest selection of any offer site, and is likely to last the longest. You will easily be able to make $20-$100 a month on TT without putting more than a few hours per week in, with over $2k available to earn. They also add new offers and surveys regularly. It's a very popular and easy to use site. With many bonus offers available each month. If you aren't a member and would like to join, http://www.treasuretrooper.com/13818. It's easy money and as long as you don't make over $600, there is no IRS involved.

And there we have it. These are some legit, easy ways to get some extra cash for whatever the reason. It's not a full time job but it certainly helps if your saving for a particular thing. Good luck and good day.
