Legitimate Ways to Earn Money Online

Fighting Fatigue
There are several legitimate ways to earn money online. Through trial, error, and yes- many scams, I have found some honest and decent ways to earn extra money. Now you won't get rich off of the programs I am going to outline, but by participating in several programs you can make a nice financial contribution to your family's income.

Associated Content is a great outlet to express your creative thoughts and to make some extra money. What I enjoy the best about Associated Content is that I can write about whatever topic is on my mind and get paid for it in the process! Associated Content also offers their content producers money to write about particular topics that they choose. Associated Content also offers different contests for cash prizes as well.

MyLot is an online community where you can go and start discussions and reply to discussions on every topic under the sun and get paid for it. I am not sure how MyLot determines how much you get paid for each topic. Once you write your response or discussion topic, you will be asked to enter keyword tags from your post. MyLot pays monthly. I have just started with MyLot so I'm not sure how timely they are with payments.

Blogging is another great way to earn extra money. There are different blogging companies you can create a blog for. My favorite blogging service is TypePad. Typepad does have a small monthly service fee (as low as $4.95 per month) but Typepadis one of the only blogging services that you can put Google ads and other paid to post ads that can make you extra money.

Once you have an established blog or blogs, you can utilize the ease of Google AdSense to earn some extra money. Google AdSense is a quick and easy way for bloggers to display Google ads on their blogs that are relevant to your site's content. I have found that it took a few months before I was really seeing any significant clicks being made from my blogs, but Google AdSense does catch on and you will see some nice earnings from this. The more blogs you have, the more Google ads you can place and the higher your earnings will be.

There are different companies that will pay bloggers to write ads. A few of these are Blogitive, Blogsvertise and PayPerpost. Blogitive pays in a timely manner, but there are not always a lot of ads to post for them. Once you have submitted your blog and it is accepted by Blogitive, you can check in to the Blogitive site throughout the day to see if any ads are available for you to write about. Blogitive calls these ads "Press Releases". Once you accept a press release, you will have 48 hours to complete the ad and to submit it for approval. Blogitive does require that you have two non-Blogitive posts that are 50 words each between each Blogitive press release you write. Blogitive pays $5.00 per ad you write. Each ad, or press release, must be 100 words in length.

Blogsvertise is another paid to post opportunity for bloggers. Blogsvertise's advertisers wants bloggers to write about their website products and services on blogs. Blogsvertise then pays the blogger for writing according to the advertiser's specifications. Blogsvertise pays $5.00 - $10.00 per post that you submit to them. The ad must be on your site for 30 days before you receive payment, but they do pay and I haven't had any problems with Blogsvertise.

PayPerPost is a newer paid to post opportunity available to bloggers. PayPerPost is the same concept as Blogitive and Blogsvertise, but you can also get paid for making videos on PayPerPost . At PayPerPost bloggers can sort through various advertiser opportunities available and pick the opportunities relevant to your blog or that you have an interest in writing about. Once your posts are approved, PayPerPost pays you! You can receive anywhere from $4.00 up to $20.00 per post. You can only write about two offers per day per blog with PayPerPost . They do pay timely and I haven't had any problems with PayPerPost.

ReverseLinks is a company that pays bloggers and web owners to post permanent links from their advertisers onto your blog or site homepage. Payments per link onto your blog or website will be dependent upon your blog's page ranking. The higher our page rank, the higher your payment for each particular link will be. ReverseLinks is still new and I believe they are trying to work out some kinks in the program. They pay monthly but it does seem as though whoever is running the site doesn't update very often and it does take a long time for your blog to be approved.

All of these companies I have outlined pay through Paypal. Paypal is a great online payment service and is EBay's official buyer and seller payment service. I have been very happy over the years with Paypal's service and have never had any problems with them.
