Lemon Oregano Chicken

A simple but delicious baked chicken recipe. This easy recipe only calls for four ingredients - chicken, lemon juice, butter, and oregano.

Serves 4
4 Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts
2 Lemons
1/2 cup (1 stick) Butter or Margarine
2 tsps Dried Oregano

Directions for Lemon Oregano Chicken

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.Melt butter. Combine with the juice of two lemons and the dried oregano. Pour into a large, rectangular, baking dish.Add chicken to the pan and spoon sauce over each piece. Cover with foil.Cook for 2 hours total. Flip and spoon sauce over each chicken breast every 30 minutes. Cook uncovered for the last 30 minutes to brown. I prefer my chicken well done. For a juicier chicken you can cut out the last 30 minutes of cook time (the uncovered portion).
