1 stick margarine, softened
1 c. Crisco shortening
3 c. sugar
5 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
1 tsp. lemon flavoring
1 c. milk
1 c. self-rising flour
2 c. all-purpose flour
Method
1) Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a large bundt cake pan.
2) Cream together the margarine, Crisco and sugar in a large mixing bowl.
3) Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
4) Add vanilla, lemon flavoring and milk, mixing well.
5) In a separate bowl, stir together the two flours. Add flour to cake batter and beat for 2 minutes on High.
6) Pour batter into prepared Bundt cake pan and bake for 1 hour or until toothpick inserted into cake comes out clean.
7) Let cake cool in pan for 15 minutes, then turn out onto a plate.
