Ingredients
Lemon - 1
White Rice - 1 cup
Mustard - 1 tablespoon
Salt (For Taste)
Method
Soak rice for around 15 minutes and remove any dust particles from it. Add 3 glasses of pure water for 1 cup of rice and pressure cook until you hear 10 whistles. You can also use electric cooker if you don't have a pressure cooker.
Place a pan on your cooking gas or heater and add 1 tablespoon of refined oil. After one minute, add coriander leaves and mustard to it until the mustard seeds rapidly spread apart. Squeeze adequate amount of lemon into the pan and add little amount of turmeric powder into it. switch off after 10 seconds.
Our boiled rice will be now ready. Put the above preparation into it and spread it evenly until you get a dark yellow color. Add adequate amount of salt for taste.
That's it. Our tasty and healthy lemon rice is now ready. Add the required quantity of it into your child's lunch box. If your child prefer you can also put 10-15 chips into a separate container or zipper bag as a side dish.
Note
Lemon contains Vitamin C and it keeps your child healthy until they return home.
