Leo settles and deepens the summer. With a sunny disposition, Jerusalem artichokes, black-eyed Susan and sunflowers adorn Leo's garden and are very easy for you to grow. Never doing anything half-hearted, massive and extensive displays of orange gaillardia, poppies, marigolds and zinnias line the front walkways and patio beds. A resolute soul, Leo takes great pride in surroundings and desires to have the very best in the neighborhood and will work to outdo others at all costs and effort.
Leo Food
Leo's zest for living can be seen in many salsas, gazpachos and saffron dishes produced in your grandiose kitchen. Always a large bottle of hot sauce will be there as well. Spicy foods from warm places, like the Mediterranean, and garlic warm the heart of the Lion. Also adored are cloves, nutmeg and parsley. Stuffed tomato antipasti appetizers, kidney bean or carrot soup, followed by chicken and parmesan cheese coating with steamed vegetables might be a favorite dinner. Classic pumpkin pie with topping would be for dessert. Expect a arge bottle of hot sauce to be there. Give sunny Leo seeds to munch on during favorite movies.
Leo Personality
Love prevails over everything for this sign, which is ruled by the heart. Leo's operate from this dimension also. Born fortunate, charismatic and positive-thinking, they attract not only an abundance of friends and opportunities, but manage to survive life's stormy times with style and good humor. Once a Lion is committed to a relationship, they are totally devoted and faithful. If their heart or trust is broken, they never forgive or forget!
There are three levels of Leos:
Sphinx - wise beyond their years and great teachers to others.
Lion - ruled by ego. Always protective and sustaining of those they love.
Lion Cub - immature and undeveloped, frightened by anything new. These Leos cling to others, in the mode of the child not wanting to leave their mother. They cannot tolerate being alone.
Regardless of the level obtained, all Leo's are trendsetters, leaders and adventurers. Their weakness is their pride. This is one sign where the saying "flattery will get you everything" applies, but be warned because any criticism will slam the relationship door shut. Leo's tend to never forget or forgive.
Life pursuit is "to lead the way" and secret desire is "to be a star".
