Leonardo DiCaprio and Bar Refaeli Split; Who Will Be His Next Top Model?

Leonardo DiCaprio and Bar Refaeli have called it quits. The actor began dating the 25-year-old Israeli model in 2005 when she was just 21.

Leo has a history with a particular type of woman. If you look at the list of females that the never married actor has dated, you will find a list of beautiful supermodels. He's dated Kristen Zang, Emma Miller and Gisele Bundchen.

Leonardo DiCaprio and Bar Refaeli broke up once before because DiCaprio reportedly felt the relationship was getting too serious. Fans may not want to bet on the 36-year-old actor getting married. Or, perhaps DiCaprio will remain a steadfast bachelor until he meets the right woman?

Look at Warren Beatty. Hollywood's most famous Lothario remained single until he met actress Annette Bening who he has been happily married to since 1992.

Like Beatty, DiCaprio is more than just a pretty face. Both men are celebrated for their superb acting skills. It helps that DiCaprio has chosen the right films for his career path. His work in "What's Eating Gilbert Grape," "The Basketball Diaries," "Titanic" and "Blood Diamond" are just a sampling of his skills as an actor. In addition, he's known as an intelligent person, and a person concerned for the environment and the world, as evidence by his substantive tweets.

So why did Leonardo DiCaprio and Bar Refaeli hook up? After all, isn't it true that supermodels aren't much in the brain department? For whatever reason, DiCaprio likes supermodels, but it is unfair to assume this type of woman is stupid.

For example, former supermodel Christy Turlington is the producer of "No Woman, No Cry" a documentary that focuses on stories of pregnant women without health care in the United States, Tanzania, Guatemala and Bangladesh. Stupid women don't put their focus on such issues.
