Leonardo DiCaprio's Delusional "Wife" on Restraining Order

DiCaprio Sought Court Injunction to Protect Himself from Stalker

Wendy Dawn
Livia Bistriceanu feels certain she is the wife of Leonardo DiCaprio and that she is carrying his child, who incidentally is Jesus. She has contacted DiCaprio on numerous occasions vowing that she will spend eternity with him, and their child Jesus, in the afterlife.

When Bistriceanu finally showed up at Leonardo DiCaprio's private residence it was time to take action.

DiCaprio filed a request for a temporary restraining order against the 41 year-old Chicago woman. The order was granted by Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Carol Boas Goodson and is designed to prevent Bistriceanu - the "wife" - from coming within 100 yards of DiCaprio and his property.

Understandably, Leonardo DiCaprio expressed concern with the fan's obsession. E! Online reports that Bistriceanu has sent letters, shown up where she knew DiCaprio could be found, and most recently showed up at his residence.

Knowing the woman is delusional and has been on psychological hold in the past is enough to rouse concern in even the most stoic of hearts. According to E! Online, DiCaprio has said he is "frightened of Ms. Bistriceanu and feel that my personal safety, and the personal safety of those around me, is in jeopardy."

DiCaprio is right to have sought an injunction to keep the woman away from him, but the order doesn't give DiCaprio a great measure of freedom from his wanna-be wife, nor does it offer a great deal of protection to his girlfriend.

Livia Bistriceanu sounds and acts unstable. Until she makes an overt threat or move against Leonardo DiCaprio there is nothing more that can be done to keep Bistriceanu from interjecting herself into his life, although she has been prohibited from carrying a firearm.

Livia Bistriceanu, the delusional "wife" of Leonardo DiCaprio is the sad life of someone mentally ill, while DiCaprio is paying one of the high prices of fame.

Tell Leo to use this line from Michael Jacskon's "Billy Jean" -- the kid is not my son!

Is it any wonder that Hollywood is filled with so much misfortune. Everyone is always so stressed out, supicious, and confused.

She needs to be in treatment. It is sad that she probably needs to hurt someone before she gets the help she so obviously needs. Just hope it isn't Leo.
