Lesbian Valentine's Day Ideas #1: Romantic Picnic
A picnic may seem a little cliché but there is a reason for that. A romantic picnic is always fun to do with your sweetheart (weather permitting). Pack food that you both really enjoy as well as some sparkling cider. Spread out a nice blanket so you two can sit next to each other and cuddle as you eat. If you have a portable CD player, take along some of your woman's favorite tunes to listen to.
Lesbian Valentine's Day Ideas #2: Go Out Of Town
Valentine's Day is a perfect time to go on a trip. Take your girlfriend out of town to her favorite travel spot (within reason). Go camping, go to the beach, take long walks, cuddle and love each other.
Lesbian Valentine's Day Ideas #3: Dinner Out
Most communities have a local Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transsexual organization that has a list of gay friendly organizations in your town. Do a search for your town and ask if they have a list of lesbian friendly restaurants. While it's true that you can go to any restaurant you wish, why not support one that is lesbian friendly? You can feel freer that your money is supporting a lesbian friendly organization. Pick a nice romantic spot to enjoy a meal with your loved one.
Lesbian Valentine's Day Ideas #4: Treasure Hunt
Make things exciting for putting on a Treasure Hunt for your girlfriend. Hand her a note with directions on where to search. In each spot, leave a new note and a gift. Have the gifts lead up to a better and better one. You can use chocolate, flowers, a new outfit, or even a promise ring.
Lesbian Valentine's Day Ideas #5: Lesbian Movie Fest
Rent some of the most romantic Lesbian movies on the market and have a special movie night at your home on Valentine's Day with your girlfriend. Pop some popcorn, have some chocolate, maybe even a little bubbly as you watch your movies. Some movie suggestions are "Better Then Chocolate," "Claire of the Moon," "Imagine Me and You," etc.
Lesbian Valentine's Day Ideas #6: Love Jar
A Love Jar is simply a glass jar that you decorate and then place little love notes about what you love about your partner. You can use a jelly jar, spaghetti jar, pickle jar, etc. Just make sure that you wash it REALLY good so that it doesn't have any food residue. You can put heart stickers or hot glue flowers onto the sides of the jar. Use a piece of pretty fabric or paper to cover up the lid.
Lesbian Valentine's Day Ideas #7: Commitment Ceremony
Gay marriage is not legal in most states but that shouldn't stop you from making a commitment to the one you love. If you've both open to the idea, have a Commitment Ceremony on Valentine's Day and invite family and friends to share the love.
Lesbian Valentine's Day Ideas #8: Massage
Most everyone loves a good massage. Get a little basket and fill it with all kinds of nice smelling lotions and massage oils. Try to go for scents that the both of you enjoy. You can only give her a massage or you can both massage each other.
Lesbian Valentine's Day Ideas #9: Breakfast in Bed
Imagine the smile that will light up your girlfriend's face as she sees that you've made her breakfast in bed. Find a tray that can be served to someone in bed and prepare all of her favorite foods and drink. Have enough for both of you so you can share it with her.
Lesbian Valentine's Day Ideas #10: Go into an Adult Store
Now this might not sound like something to do on Valentine's Day but the truth of the matter is that going into an Adult store can be fun IF you're with someone you love. You two can pick out something fun to use on your romantic Valentine's Day night to make things a little steamier.
