Less Than Perfect

I look in the mirror and sometimes don't like what I see

Because when I think of you, I sometimes wonder if I'm worthy.

Do I really deserve your fire-like kisses?

What did I do to earn your soft caresses?

How did I get someone so far out of my league,

When I have no memory of doing some amazing deed?

When I see the less than perfect man staring back at me from the glass,

I have to question how I got upgraded from coach to first class.

And all I can do is love you, enjoy the ride and hope this isn't just all some dream.

Because, without you in my life, I'm sure I would fall apart at the seams.
