Hair salt and pepper from his children's affairs
He stares into your eyes as a sign of respect
Teaching never shy away building their confidence
He's passionate about their education, talents and flaws
Expects direct answers instead of "just because"
Positive believing the impossible is possible
Convinced utilizing your gifts will make you unstoppable
He doesn't except excuses but excepts apologies
Realizing your faults by taking responsibility
A drill sergeant at times sensitive at others
A father and friend I wouldn't trade for another
When the time comes and I have children of my own
He'll be the total opposite giving them everything they want
He'll continue to give advice as often as he can
Regardless of how old I am he'll always be my dad
