Lessons to Be Learned!

M.S.Medina
Saying please and thank you are common words of grace.
We say them and then often just push our way into a place.

Saying "Bless you", when someone does sneeze
is a common little tease.
How many of us mean it
or promptly soon forget?

The words are often said without thinking of what we say,
Do you really mean them or will you
just lock them all away?

Before you say the words to me
Just be careful how you act.
It's not always just what you say
but what you do and that's a fact.

I hear you. Once in my office there was a woman who would sneeze and then say "Bless Me" before anyone could say "Bless You." It was pretty funny; well, maybe you had to be there. But try it some time and see how people react.

I would add "I love you" to the list of words spoken without actions to back them up. : >
