This team of ghost hunters have brought fans, old and new, not only a glimpse into the life of a ghost hunter, but have provided sometimes-funny lessons aspiring ghost hunters can learn from. No matter how minute or corny the lesson, there is always something new to be learned from this group. Don't understand something? They are wonderful about explaining things in layman terms.
What Have I Learned About Ghosts from Watching "Ghost Hunters International:"
Lesson One: Ghostly apparitions can be downright hateful!
When the "GHI" team traveled to Denmark to investigate the Dragholm Castle, investigator Joe Chin was bitten by something. What it was remains unknown. In the same investigation, Robb asks if something was going to happen to Angela. The response was a faint knock.
Lesson Two: It is never a good idea to make a ghost mad.
While investigating the game room at Dragholm Castle, Dustin and Barry removed a cross from one of the walls and placed it on a table. Barry began feeling a chair sitting near his leg vibrate. They immediately returned the cross to its rightful place on the wall.
Lesson Three: It's important to record everything, no matter how big or small because you never know when a ghost will decide to make an appearance.
While investigating the Ragged School in Edinburgh, Scotland, the "Ghost Hunters International" team's tech specialist Brian Harnois has spooked out of his melon by something he can't see. The bad news was that he didn't record the encounter, and there is no proof it happened. Evidence is the essence of all ghost hunting investigations and poor Brian dropped the ball on this one.
Lesson Four: While investigating a location where there are reported spirits of small children, never try to elicit a response by using math. Candy works like a charm every time.
Lead investigator Robb Demarest tried to provoke the child ghosts by quizzing them in math during their investigation of Wicklow Gaol prison. Obviously this doesn't work out too well for him. When paranormal rock star Dustin Pari and Barry FitzGerald entice the children with candy, the paranormal experiences begin with tugging on a coat pocket.
Lesson Five: If you ask a ghost if it's okay to sleep in their room, you should listen to your voice recorder immediately to hear their response.
Before bedding down for the night at Malaspina Castle in Fosdinovo, Italy, "Ghost Hunters International" investigator Robb Demerest asked the spirits if they were okay with his being in the room. The response he got was a simple "No." Had Robb listened to his recorder that night, he might have opted for another room, or perhaps make tracks to the car as fast as possible.
Lesson Six: When the lady of the house asks you to leave, you should do as she says. After all, it would be plain rude to stay where you aren't wanted.
When the "GHI" team investigated the Monte Cristo homestead in El Bosque, Chile, the ghostly voice of Mrs. Crowley was captured on EVP ordering the "GHI" team to leave. No need to tell me twice!
Lesson Seven: Spirits are capable of communicating with the living.
During their investigation of Trekroner Fort in Copenhagen, Denmark, investigators Robb and Angela asked a series of questions in hopes there is a spirit lurking about. Spikes on the EMF meter determined the spirit was responding to them as if in conversation.

Post a CommentI find that GHI isn't as organized as GH. I enjoy the places they go to, but find that they either do not find any evidence or it seems to me a tad fake.I'd rather see Jay, Grant and the GH America team go abroad once in a while...even if it's just to Canada or Mexico lol.
