DENVER (FPC) - Presidential hopeful Senator Barack Obama arrived in Denver on Sunday, October 26, 2008 to rally supporters and help get out the vote for those who have not yet taken advantage of early voting during the past week.

Many of Colorado's polling places have began the staffing selection of Poll Workers and Election Judges with anticipation of a full-blown voter turn out. When Senator Obama asked for a show of hands for those who have voted, the crowd of approximately 100,000 indicate the political pools are correct showing the Obama-Biden campaign in handsome lead against republican candidate Senator John McCain.

In what has been called the battleground state of Colorado, the Presidential Candidate pledged his commitment to America and to work toward bringing the current housing crisis under control with support to help keep homeowners in place. This is welcomed gander as foreclosures in Colorado are at an all time high and have begun to weaken the housing industry in stability and pricing.

Senator Obama, stated the change America needs is something that he can not do alone and ask that each American do their part in issue s such as energy, education and ecological community. The proposed changes in response to voters recently profiled as "Joe the Plumber" is not raise taxes on wage earners with less than $250,000 in income. By a show of hands, the leading presence in this Sunday morning rally indicate the political polls are correct.

This may be in fact the last visit the Obama-Biden campaign has in Denver. Michelle Obama final scheduled appearance is in Colorado Springs, CO on Tuesday, October 28, 2008. As the countdown continues inside 10 days to claiming victory in a city where it all began. The dust is beginning to settle on the campaign trail of the west, but in the hearts of Denverites in Historic Five Points, we will always appreciate not being the flake side of the city. The volunteer office located on the Welton Street Commercial Cultural District reflect a good start in moving to building inclusive communities in a new urbanism environment.

I must admit I have been inspired throughout this election. A key factor many have found to meet the upcoming needs toward a prosperous America. Senator Barack Obama a Democrat from Illinois has setforth a course and recognized the pulse of Americans. Obama in closing the rally said, "We have always been at our best when called upon to work together on the challenges ahead" This too reminded me of another noted quote, "I am for those means which will give the greatest good to the greatest number" Abraham Lincoln the 16th president from the Great State of Illinois.
