Let Paris "Eat Cake!" - Finally, Some Justice in the Justice System

Mary Morris
Finally some justice in the justice system! I am so proud of the judge who ordered Paris Hilton back to jail to finish our her sentence. I am not implying that her punishment be harsher because she is wealthy just that she should serve out the punishment for her crime as anyone else would be expected to.

As I stated in my last article " Paris Goes Home" which was also published by AC. If it were an average person, this behavior that is being displayed by the whole Hilton family, of Paris needing to be moved from the facility because " she has a rash" or heaven forbid " she needs to continuously wash her hands" although I a hoping she does this anyway; is just ridiculous! There are so many mothers and other women in general that become ill in jail that don't get sent home to the comforts of their own house. Do you think that when the guards pass by and hear some one sobbing, they rush over to comfort them? No. They pass on by, because they got themselves in there, no one else did.

I try to instill in my children to own up to their actions, and that is exactly what Paris needs to do. She will be better off taking her spoonful of medicine. And I feel that she will earn a lot more respect if she does.

When I came out of the before school program one morning from dropping my children off, I discovered a policeman writing me a ticket because I had parked my car in the wrong part of the circular drive in front of the school. Although I toyed with the idea of rolling around on top of my car while chomping on a greasy hamburger, I decided to just grin and accept the ticket and move on. Why, I parked in a handicapped zone! I deserved the ticket. Of course I was upset that of all the true criminals that are out there wandering around, they picked a working mother to bust. But I waited for my ticket and drove to work and arrived late.

Of course, I wouldn't wish for anybody to experience being incarcerated. I just think if you do the crime, then you should do the time. There are too many high profile people out there that don't receive their just punishment. Unfortunately for Paris, she is going to be the example of a brilliant judge deciding to say, you know what, yes you are going to jail.

There is bound to be some good that will come of this. Maybe Paris can write about her experiences so that some young fan will learn from her mistakes and be set on the right path. Maybe Paris can sing about something that has really touched her through all of this. Not staff infection, but something spiritual and meaningful.

Who knows Paris, maybe you can design ankle bracelets!
