Let's Scrabble!

Let me admit at the outset, I am addicted to scrabble. Or maybe I should say I am addicted to scrabble on www.isc.ro. They have a fabulous console that keeps haunting me all the time.Those dark and light red and blue squares are a delight to watch, especially when I notch up a big score and a win.It is sheer bliss.

I have a host of buddies out there, all die-hard scrabblers.Ocassionally one does come across the whiners, abusive players and the skeptics.The skeptical player is on tenterhooks, more so when the opponent makes the oh-so-awesome BINGO.Well! the bingo is the elixir of the scrabbler's life. The all powerful bingo certainly unnerves the opponent, and yes! believe me,it is so palpable online ............ and if the abuses or accusations follow, then we have the no-play.Bitterness, accusations, abuses and the SOS to the helpers ( God bless them all!). But all this is short-lived and very soon the scrabbler is picking up the next available seek and up, up and away to newer pastures, and higher scores. That takes years to achieve though!

And so our scrabble life goes on as we continue to play,reading the light and at times, not so pleasant banter on channel 20, waiting for the day when we will be good enough to generate the ....."A HUSH FILLS THE ROOM AS ............... WALKS IN! :). The blank showing a top-rated player's name who has logged on that very minute.That's ISC's tribute to the outstanding players, as the others watch in awe, these words on their main console,hoping that some day the blank would show their handles.

I am, meanwhile sharpening my skills playing at the duplicate games.Top, the bot, teaching me the new strategies and all those strange, unheard of words.Long live Top! and three cheers to ISC....THE INTERNET SCRABBLE CLUB.
