Today 11/11/11 marks another Veterans Day for the USA. The citizens of this land should recognize that on Veterans Day it is their responsibility to reach out to the Veterans of the United States of America and show them gratitude for their dedicated service to their homeland.
It is with great pleasure that I take this opportunity to recognize and thank one such Veteran. This Veteran served as a United States Marine. In addition to serving her patriotic duty, this Veteran also performs a tremendous service to the Yahoo! Contributor Network. She is a member of the esteemed Associated Content Page View Millionaire club and stands proudly on Clout 10. As a Y!CN Contributor she ranked in the Top 1000 both in 2009 and 2010 and currently displays the prestigious Hot 100 badge on her Y!CN profile.
In addition to the content that she produces on the Y!CN, she is a key figure in the Y!CN forum. Somehow she manages to stay subscribed to all the the threads in the forum. Those who doubt that statement should take a stroll down the various threads in the Y!CN forum and then they will see for themselves her mighty presence. It his here that she responds to many questions posed by Y!CN Contributors. She also plays a pivotal role in helping Y!CN advance its goals by interacting with the Y!CN staff in order to make the overall network experience more functional.
I admit that I don't know this Veteran personally. However, I am confident in assuming that she served her country as a U.S. Marine with the same tenacious spirit that she displays everyday as a Featured Contributor on the Y!CN. Accordingly, it gives me great pleasure to recognize and thank Marie Anne St. Jean not only her for role on Y!CN, but especially on this day for so proudly and faithfully serving the great country that is known as The United States of America.
Please join me in saying thank you to Marie Anne St. Jean. In addition, please visit Marie Anne St. Jean to read her published Y!CN content. Don't miss her blog, Write, Wrong or Indifferent. It is a more than worthwhile place to spend your time.

Post a CommentGreat to see you here, Han. Great tribute. Buzz
Nice to see Marie Anne recognized this month for her content. The woman rocks!
Han, thank you for your prayers for my friend for after what he is enduring in God is in the Storm, my problems seem insignificant.
My dear friend, is there anything, any hindrance, that you are unwilling to give up to comment so faithfully? Apparently not because you give up your time, your effort, and kindness by your faithful comments. I thank God for your friendship Han. There is something you possess that is a vital part of following the Master, Jesus Christ, and you are doing it by the love that you leave by your comments.
I appreciate veterans, too! Thank you!
Thanks for this Han. I too must apologize for I have been away from Yahoo! for a while since I have been under the weather, I pastor a church (unpaid) and have to work to support myself and have an Outreach and nursing home ministry. I am sorry I have not visited your page for so long my friend. I surely miss you and all the others too. I only publish about once or twice (at most) a month on Yahoo! Thanks friend.
Wonderful idea. Sorry I haven't written you back recently. Losing my mom and my sister within three months of one another has really left me reeling. I'm in a depression right not that I can't seem to shake. It's understandable, but it scares me too given that depression contributed to both of their deaths.
You rock Han Van for your supporting attitude and the fun spirit you create here at Yahoo.
Thoughtful and kind~
What a nice tribute!
