She dances with her umbrella,
Who is the lucky fella?
Soon sunshine all around,
Emerald green and gentle sound.
Hidden treasures everywhere,
Birds singing sweetly in the air.
Signs begin to show,
The snow will quickly go.
Winter will soon be far behind,
Spring brings bright sunshine.
Flowers raise their lovely heads,
Raised from their winter beds.
Raise your hands up in the air,
Give your thankful prayer,
God you are so good,
Help us thank you as we should.

Spring smells so delicious.
Nice :) I like this! Happy Easter!
Inspiring, uplifting spring poetry.
nice :)!
And Spring is very welcome. Wonderful poem.
so beautiful, simply lovely!
Now that I can read it, I DO love it! And the artwork too! You're the best. And I mean that, I'm not just saying it! (I really hope we don't get more snow; I'm not sure I'd survive it!)
Beautiful...the painting is lovely...I am so wanting Spring to be here.....
No automatic article acceptance until Tues.? Not everyone will be busy this weekend, and some of us would like to earn a little page-view money in the meantime! Anyway, back to your poem: It's beautiful, and your painting is exquisite! Do you have any slideshows of your artwork on AC? Let me know. I'd like to check them out if you do. :)
