Letter to Michelle Obama

Dear Michelle Obama

D. Calhoun
Dear Michelle Obama,

For the first time in my life, I am not so proud to be an American. This is because,
for the first time in my life, America has elected a Marxist to lead the country.
For the first time in my life, a President was elected based on the "color of his skin," while the "content of his character," as evidenced by the company he kept, was largely ignored.
For the first time in my life, an American President was elected, who had refused to wear an American Flag on his lapel, and refused to place his hand over his heart and say the Pledge of Allegiance.

It's mind boggling that my fellow Americans could be so easily duped. They ignored all the warning signs, and proceeded to elect a man, who within the course of his first year in office has broken every one of his campaign promises. And this in a campaign, where so little was concrete; so much was obviously (intentionally) vague with - read whatever you want to into it - slogans like: "Yes we can!" and "Change we can believe in!"

Well Michelle, I'll tell you what I believe. I believe that a year ago the majority of voting Americans were among the most gullible ignoramuses on the planet, who gleefully swept your leftist husband into office.

Yes, you say that you are finally proud to be an American for the first time in your life. Was this an election that you were proud of? To come to power on a wave of the uninformed and deluded? I wouldn't be. And, I am not proud of my fellow countrymen for allowing this to happen in this great country of ours.

PS. Don't bother having me audited. I am still unemployed.

Sincerely,

D. Calhoun

Faith, Wow! Which town? I've heard the actual number including those who have given up and the underemployed was close to 20%. I worked non-profit and so never got unemployment! That's a law they can change! I just have a once a week half day part time gig. Thanks for posting!
