Letter to President Bush

Where Have You Been, Living in Another Country?

robritt
Dear President Bush,

I know you have been enjoying dancing in Africa and eating exotic foods in far off place, so maybe it is time you had a reality check! Do you know that milk is $4.00 a gallon in some places? That a loaf of bread cost $2.00 and that gasoline for our cars is over $3.00 a gallon? No I don't suppose you do when you never had an inkling of what things cost to begin with. You never had to go to the grocery store to buy anything, it was always brought to you or someone else bought it.
Beside when the tax payers are paying for you to have fun in the sun and see the world, why would you ever think there was trouble in your own country. People are having a hard time just trying to feed their families while you burn up thousands of gallons of that precious fuel called gas, to circle the globe.

Oh yeah and lets not forget that Cheney can travel all over to try to boost his standing, going hunting and all sorts of thing on special planes. I guess this is your last hurray before you stick the finally barb into the American people. Of course, there is no recession where you are up on that hill. Maybe you ought to wake up and smell the roses in your rose garden. Hopefully they will be sprayed them with something to make you open your eyes.

Even the FED has even tried to help the recession and still is trying. Have you noticed the housing crisis or did you even notice that? People are losing their homes at an enormous rate because they can't pay for them and you are about to buy a big mansion in Dallas. Of course you didn't notice? You had you head up in the clouds (and that is saying it nicely).

As your father might say we are in Deep dodo. It is time you woke up. Because of you and your stupid policies we are the most hated nation in the world, not to mention broke, and getting more so every day. The least you could do is admit you goofed and open your eyes to the truth. Stop spouting this rhetoric and face up to your mistakes. Apologize for what you have done.

I never voted for you in the first place but you fooled a lot of people for a while. Like PT Barnum said, you can fool some of the people some of the time, part of the people part of the time, but not all of the people all the time. We ARE in a recession and I just pray the next President can get us out of it. I'm only glad you will be gone. you rascal you!

And as for having a pea brain, it is you who has the pea brain and you are not even honest enough to make your name show on this site when you want an answer or make it so you can get an answer. That show what a chicken$ you are and how stupid you are, you won't even stand behind your convictions. At least I tell it like it is and don't buy into all that "I'm saving the world routine" of Obama rhetoric that all politician spou and none of them mean. It is congress that makes the rules not the President anyway, so change will have to come from them, not Obama. If you don;t know that you are dumber than a box of rocks.

I will NOT vote for OBAMA if he gets the nomination and many of my friends feel the same way. What I know IS true about him and besides he is for helping the drug dealer gets lighter sentences. He say so himself. I think he is one slick politician. However I will NOT for Mccain either. I'll vote for either Nadar or Ron Paul if Hillary doesn't get the nomination.

McCain wants to follow directly in his foot steps. He believes Bush's budget plans are fine. Please, please research McCain some more before voting for him. Also research Obama and see that what you believe of him is completely untrue.

    Amen!!!!

  • I swear lady you have a pea for a brain3/1/2008

And yet you would not expect the same from McCain? How stupid are you? The war is costing trillions and will continue to and IF (God save us if he does) McCain were to be president he has stated he will continue not only in Iraq but Iran as well. What do you think that will do to the cost of milk and gas? How can you not see this? ANY republican is going to brings us down even more - wake up! Fortunally your vote won't matter and you are too lazy to get out and be part of the solution so thank god for that!

I don't know how he could say we're not in a recession. He must be so well off and so far into his own world that he doesn't see it - or he just doesn't want to admit it. I'm definitely noticing.... every time I fill up my gas tank, when I buy groceries (especially milk and eggs), and when I'm struggling to pay my bills. Health insurance costs1/5 of my husband's weekly take-home pay. We can't afford to live. Prices have gone way up, but income sure hasn't. His head is definitely up his @$$. Excellent letter.

You know, I did vote for him TWICE! I guess maybe I was one of those who was fooled. I agree very much with your comment about us being so hated at this point in time. Good job on this!

Excellent letter. Can you also tell him about car insurance.... I mean my car didnt pass inspection.... I pay insurance... they should fix it. If my house burns down, homeowners insurance pays for it.....why not my dang car insurance??? lol. For real... everyting in the US is just messy right now, and it is not right.

I got the standard generic reply... We thank you for writing but we can not answer every message. President Bush appreciates your comment. la-de-la-de-dah! I bet he wouldn't if he got it. He was back on TV tomnight saying we are not in a recession. He sure does have his head where the sun don't shine.
