Letters to Juliet: A Love Letter to Italy

Movies are a great part of our culture. In addition, they might inspire people to travel. My favorite type of movies are romantic ones. This is because I believe in soul-mates and true love. In romantic movies, people always root for the main couple to get together at the end of the movie. One of my favorite romantic movies is Notting Hill because Julia Roberts and Hugh Grant have terrific chemistry and I want to go to England someday. I also love Letters to Juliet because Amanda Seyfried and Chris Egan have incredible chemistry. Also, this romantic film has inspired me to travel to Italy. Letters to Juliet is a classic romantic movie and a love letter to Italy.

Letters to Juliet is a story about finding a lost love and finding true love. Sophie, played by Amanda Seyfried, and Victor, played by Gael Garcia, decide to go to Italy for a pre-honeymoon trip. However, cooking, not romance, is what is in store for them. This is because Victor is far more interested in finding the perfect cheese and wine instead of romancing Sophie. Therefore, Sophie goes sightseeing alone and finds the house where Juliet lived. There she finds women who write love letters to people who write them for love advice. Sophie finds an old love letter and writes back to a Claire, a woman writing about her first love, Lorenzo.

Sophie meets Claire and her grandson, Charlie, and decide to try to find Claire's lost love Lorenzo. Charlie and Sophie don't get along at the beginning of the trip. However, as the trip progresses, they form a friendship and an attraction to each other. Vanessa Redgrave as wonderful as Claire. I will not tell you if Sophie and Charlie find true love. I will also refrain from telling you if Claire finds Lorenzo. However, I will say that you will believe in true love after seeing Letters to Juliet.

In addition, this movie is a love letter to Italy. this is because the scenery is breathtaking. Everything in Italy is a vibrant green and there are many vineyards. I also wanted to eat mounds and mounds of spaghetti. Letters to Juliet is about love, food and wine, and stunning views. I would highly recommend seeing Letters to Juliet. Source: Letters to Juliet
