Levi Johnson-Is He a "Real" Threat to the Palin Family's Political Spot Light?

Depending on your personal views, one may say that Levi Johnston is simply just a teenager trying to get on TV or wants publicity, or one might say that he has really overstepped his boundaries and his recent activities have caused embarrassment for the conservative Palin family. I really feel that his inability to perhaps step up to plate and help take care of the baby he has with Bristol Palin, an unwed mother and daughter to the first Republican Woman candidate for president, Sarah Palin is not a reputable spot I would like to be in. So perhaps this was Levi's only outlet to make a living or provide for the family he now is responsible for.

So, what exactly has Levi been up to since the custody battle started over his child with Sarah Palin? Well to make matters worse, he really has not proven Sarah otherwise that he is not a wild-child at heart and wants to help support Sarah or Bristol in any "respectful" way. In fact his most recent activity of shooting in Playgirl magazine is perhaps going to hurt her "sweet" image in the end. It is wise of Sarah to speak out against his actions, as a strong woman and perhaps future candidate for the actual Presidency of the United States, she is showing her "moral" side of not needing to take off clothes and pose nude for money. Johnston was reported to be paid 100,000 dollar contract he signed with Playgirl magazine.

The first initial photo shoot was to show Levi Johnston showing "all that hung below the waist" and fully nude photos. Sarah was outraged and enthralled as she explained recently on the Oprah Winfrey show at Levi's new career as a "Porn Star." I would not go to the extremes as Palin did and say he is now the new face of Porno but I would be a bit concerned for the publicity that will arise out of his actions, not only for her campaign, but as a father intertwined with a politically conservative family. I do not think his actions are really the worst thing in the world a person can do, but tactfully Levi maybe should have thought about the consequences. Levi and Playgirl magazine did however edit the photo-shoot where not everything was showing and the pictures were supposed to be classy.

Really the outcome will be how Bristol Palin will feel about the father of her baby posing nude, will she reject his freedom of his choice and square him away as her Mother has or will she accept his position to live his life? We all remember when John F. Kennedy Jr. would be seen out running or jogging with out any shirt on, and his bachelor lifestyle was one many men would envy. However I do not think you can morally judge somebody just on sexual appeal. In Levi's case he may be doing this to create a name for himself or to help take care of his child in the best way he can.

On behalf of Sarah Palin, who appears to have a strong hold on the Conservative Christian Right she will surly be heard and will more than likely be admired by her fellow conservative comrades. However, for Levi, who is much younger may or may not ever be accepted or affiliated with conservative values, which in inevitably is his choice. Levi will be the bearer of the consequences or rewards of being a sought-after "Hunk" in Playgirl, he seems to clearly think for his own actions and does not at all seem concerned with what Bristol or Sarah Palin does at the current moment, time will tell!
