This lovely hotel is perfect for the business traveler, but I didn't think it was the best choice for families with children. Its central location made it easy for getting around in the city, but I wasn't comfortable walking around in the area at night. Parking is available, but for a pretty steep fee of $10 per day.
There is a very nice lounge located in the Lexington at City Place, Orlando, as well as a very nice dining facility for a very nice evening meal. There are a number of dining choices in the area as well, and taxis are available for travel to and from, but I would suggest that you call in advance for one. Don't expect to hail a cab from the front door. There is a concierge available, but no bell boys were present on my stay there. The concierge is a great help in planning activities and getting information. The hotel provides room service, but you will find that it is very expensive. All I can say is almost $5 for a bottle of water...
You can't book your stay online, at least not yet. You can book a stay at the Lexington at City Place, Orlando by calling the hotel directly. Rates are decent but non-refundable. WI-FI internet access is provided free of charge, but there is no breakfast included.
The beds are the best part, wonderful, plush pillows and a bed you simply don't want to get up in the morning. I just can't say enough about the comfort and coziness!
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here. The décor of the rooms was nice and very spacious. Everything was very clean and the staff treated us very well. Our next trip to downtown Orland, Florida will more than likely include a stay at the Lexington at City Place.

Post a CommentNice review. I'm glad you included the information about the night/day difference too. We have some places like that in Seattle. Great to walk around in during the day but you don't want to be there at night. It does make a difference and is important for those with kids. Sounds like a very nice stay!
