So, I just got my new LG Decoy added to my Verizon service. After playing around with the Decoy I must say that it is pretty impressive. Although it is not as sleek as the Chocolate 3 that I had it does not take up too much pocket space at all. With the usual weight and size issues out of the way lets take a look at the keys. There is no touch screen like the Venus but touch is overrated anyways unless you have an iPhone. In general, the keys have little resistance against your fingers but give a solid click so you know that you have pressed the button. As for the menus, if you have ever owned an LG then you can easily navigate your way around the Decoy's menus because they are practically the same as all other LG phones and the keys. One drawback is that the Decoy's directional pad is somewhat annoying because it clicks fairly easily. So although there is a lock function my music has turned on while it was in my pocket because of the D-pad (which is a problem that I never had with the chocolate three). To cure this I recommend setting your shortcuts to anything but music, video or the web. Two really cool features of the phone are the built in bluetooth headset and FM transmitter. To me, the Decoy is a slider version of the chocolate 3 with a bluetooth headset and a slightly less functional D-pad; Everything else seems to be the same.
There have been some complaints over the quality of the headset and the glossy screen however I have not found any problems with them yet. Since it is a slider phone it is somewhat awkward if you are used to flip phones but the features are well worth the adjustment. For more detailed specifications click here. - Lightweight Bluetooth Headset with User Friendly ControlsDespite the fact that the Samsung WEP500 Bluetooth headset is an extremely tiny device, it can still handle its own among larger headsets. The size of this device can best be compared to a quarter.
- The New Verizon Chocolate Phone Has Some Serious DrawbacksWhile the Chocolate has some innovative features, the difficulty of navigation and function and lack of improvement in basic features make it overpriced for this consumer. I want a phone that is easier to understand.

Nice review. I like LG phones.
LG makes pretty cool phones. I have sprint service and just purchsed the LG lotus. It has yet to be seen if I should have gone with one of the "touch screens". Nice article.
