LG EnV Touch Review

Seth Southall
The LG EnV touch is a very cool cell phone which Verizon Wireless features.

Pros:
The EnV touch has a very responsive touch screen and a lock feature so that there is no pocket dialing or opening of the menu while the phone is in a pocket. The phone allows you to send text, picture, and video messages and when you are typing a message out if you turn the phone horizontally, a full Qwerty keyboard shows up on the screen (While using the touch screen). I especially like the way that the inbox is set up. The inbox has the names of the people who you have messaged or have messaged you and when you hit their name, all the messages sent and received from that contact are in that area. The EnV Touch comes with two themes, Modern Retro and Blue Inspiration which you can change. The phone also comes with a drawing pad(used with touch screen only), a notepad widget, a couple of demo games, instant messenger, mobile email, and even bluetooth. There is also a jack that you can plug either speakers or a headset into that is Dolby mobile. The EnV touch also comes with a 3.2 mega-pixel, auto focus camera, which takes some amazing pictures. The EnV touch also comes with web browsing capabilities. The charger is also a USB cable to hook the EnV touch up to a computer and transfer music and data documents.

The phone also flips open sideways to show a Qwerty keyboard and a screen with speakers. The Qwerty keyboard makes typing out messages a whole lot easier especially for those that are not too keen on the touch screen. This inside screen is not a touch screen. The same programs and information that you can access with the touch screen is accessible with the phone open. To use the speaker phone the phone must also be flipped open.

Cons:
There are a couple cons about the EnV touch. The more you use the phone, the quicker the battery will die. I find that if you message a lot and you use the touch screen to type messages the battery does last a lot longer than if you open the phone and use the actual keyboard. Visual voice mail costs extra money monthly, and the phone does not allow for WI-FI usage. The phone is also a little on the larger side.

I agree. Worth reading and glad to have seen a "heads up" about this on Twitter, found your review easily.
