LG PM 225 Cell Phone Review

I bought this phone a while back. I honestly didn't think about what type of phone I wanted as long as it was small and descent looking. And that's when I ended with the LG PM 225 cell phone. I know that it is still on sale, so if you've seen this phone and considering buying it, read on.

The look: I really love the look of this phone. It's sleek, light, small, and doesn't have that annoying antennae sticking out. It feels great in my hand (no slipping!), and is easy to flip open. You can get the front in black and silver or read and silver. The front of the phone also has a light that you can turn on and off so you can see the status of the battery. Green is fully charged, red isn't. It also lights up when getting an incoming call, when you have a text message, or a voicemail. There is also a small screen that tells you the date, time, battery status, and reception status. It's a great look and I personally think the look is better than most phones I've seen.

Opening it up: the phone opens up to a nice 128 x 160 LCD screen. It's nothing impressive, but it does the job. The middle dial leads to the camera, with the "back", "end", and "talk" buttons. Nothing special, just the same old stuff.

The features: the phone includes various ringtones, its own wallpaper, and game demos. The camera isn't even one megapixel, and can only hold 20 pictures at a time. I think it's the most disappointing part of the camera. However, it also has some nice basic features such as text messaging, internet, a phone book that can hold up to 500 numbers, a voice memo, speaker phone, calculator, tip calculator, scheduler, and alarm clock. Phew!

Pros and cons: As already mentioned, this small baby has a great look. You can put in your pocket and still be comfortable. Feels great and your hand and won't slip. The major con is the camera feature. It takes pictures less than 1megapixel, can only hold 20 at a time, and generally doesn't have the best quality. However, you can send them to your email, phone provider account, or to another phone.

After having it for more than two years, I have decided to give this phone a three out of five. It's not horrible, but it definitely could be better. It's durable and still works like new!
