Night mare on Normal Street is an annual event held in the community of Hillcrest in San Diego. This Event is one big Halloween Block Party. During Nightmare on Normal Street the whole LGBT communities comes out in a whole variety of crazy, unique, extravagant, funny, and scary costumes.

Since this is a LGBT Halloween event many of the costumes show off sexual humor. On the other hand there are also many other costumes that are so creative and shocking. Many of the participants that go to Nightmare on Normal want to have awesome costumes because there is always a costume contest! There is a few to enter the contest but there is always a cash prize for the best costume, plus it's just fun to go on stage and show off.

Nightmare on Normal Street also usually has a DJ before the Halloween contest, and there are also venders that sell food and drinks. They also have a beer garden for those of us that want to have some alcohol pleasure while in costume. So if you want to experience Halloween with the LGBT community in San Diego then Nightmare on Normal Street is the place to be.

The Rocky Horror Picture Show Live Showing

Are you a Rocky Horror Picture Fanatic? It doesn't matter because if you are or not "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" Live showing is the place to go on Halloween in San Diego County. The Rocky Horror Picture Show is one of the best Cult films that have ever been made. On Halloween at Midnight the La Paloma Theatre plays a live showing of the film.

A live showing is when the film is played on the screen but there is also a stage in front of the screen that live actors and actresses go on stage in front of an audience and act each scene of the movie. At the live showing on Halloween many of the audience participants are dressed up as characters of the film, and before the film they have the "Virgin Games".

The virgin games include anyone who has never seen RHPS live and they have different sexual oriented games that they have the virgins play. This event is great for people of the "LGBT" community to go to because the movie expresses a lot of sexual freedom, and it is just definitely a unique and fun place to be at.

If you want more information on these LGBT Halloween events please go to the Center's website, or the La Paloma Theatre website.
