Liberals Are Often Very Conservative

A big misconception about liberals is that they do not hold a great many things sacred or important. This is well known among liberals as a complete lie, and the difficulty in dealing with it is that it's completely absurd, given the preponderance of evidence to the contrary.

Take, for instance, the fact liberals are often the one's who fight for progressive policies that would protect Americans who need help, and make this nation a better place. Conservatives often try to throw these policies away, but it basically leads to more problems in America, crime and sadness. It's too bad that conservatives go about and do this, because it sets things back a ways, and generally makes things bad.

Liberals, often, though, are some of the most conservative people you'll meet in other respects. It's just their way of being. In addition, they're often busy trying to make things better, but its not easy. They get put down a lot, but learn how to deal with it. Over time, I suppose, its become their way of getting by, at least when things are tough.

For the time being, even though we have a liberal president, the economic recession is going to make things tough. Who knows if the liberal spirit will live on or not? Sometimes during times of great economic problems, people stop thinking about their friends and instead think only about themselves. It's kind of sad to see this happen, but its what most conservative policies are based on. It's the "me, not you," kind of thing. Who knows what will happen? Lot's of us hope things will get better.
