Liberals in the Senate Side with Obama and Illegal Invaders of Our Country Instead of the People of Arizona and Americans.

Illegal immigration is a plague that is greatly harming this once great nation of ours. With the economy the way it is and the brutality of the drug war in Mexico, Americans are getting fed up and want illegal invaders out of our country and no more coming in. most illegal invaders are still not intelligent enough to read it. States on the border with Mexico are greatly affected with the violence that is often associated with people crossing into the country illegally. It has been reported that in California and Arizona over 20% of the people in prisons are illegal aliens who have no place in the country. Can you imagine the tax savings if those people had not been able to get in if the border was secured? Many liberals claim crime at the border is down. This might be true, but the crime of crossing illegally is still a crime and it seems that those numbers liberals use can be manipulated. It is also very possible that crime moves to other areas as they all do not stay in Arizona and after a rancher was murdered by an illegal invader its possible they are trying to tone the violence down. This does not take away from the cost of various social programs like welfare, WIC, food stamps, free lunches, and public education for children and anchor babies who leech off of our system or the cost to our prison system. This of course is in addition to breaking into our country and driving down the cost of wages.

The state of Arizona boldly took action at the failure of the government to enforce our laws and secure the border passed a law that in effect makes being an illegal alien in the state of Arizona a crime, which most Americans think it should be. In his typical contempt for the will of the American people, Barack Obama and his Justice Department decided to bring suit against the state. As if he has not spent enough tax payer dollars he is using tax payer dollars for this against the will of the American people. At the same time they are allowing sanctuary cities (all democrat strongholds) to go on violating our laws. They don't even report illegal invaders after they let them out of jail.

In an act of patriotism and force senators to take a stand on illegal immigration, Senator Jim DeMint (R-SC) introduced a measure in the Senate on July 21, 2010 that would have blocked funding for the Justice Department, at the urging of Barack Hussein Obama, to carry on the politically motivated attack of Arizona Law SB1070. Poll after poll shows that a vast majority of Americans do not want the law challenged and agree with it. It really comes down to being a patriot and supporting the law or supporting criminals if you are against it. In addition to forcing sides in the issue it also would have basically stopped the lawsuit from occurring. The measure was defeated 55- with 2 Republicans voting with the democrats against America and five democrats bravely standing up to Obama and political correctness. I must say I was very surprised that they had the guts to do that. If they did on Obamcare maybe some of them would be keeping their jobs in this anti-Democrat sentiment that is coming in November 2010.

There is very much that has been said about the law. The basic of Arizona SB1070 is that it makes being in Arizona illegally a state crime. Typically it's considered a misdemeanor and a civil crime not criminal issue to be in the country illegally. I think that is a disgrace with all the problems illegal immigrants and their anchor babies cause and the cost to the United States. The basic of the law is that it follows the federal guideline that is often not enforced that when police officers have contact with a person they can question them about their immigration status and for all lawful immigrants to carry papers with them. Carrying your papers is a federal law as is questioning people about their immigration status during a contact with a police officer. Critics cry racial profiling against Mexicans. The reality is most illegal invaders to this country are Latinos and the majority of those are Mexicans. I also see no other ethnic group out there talking about "stolen continent" and protesting with their nations flag, burning American flags the way the Mexicans do. I think this fear of profiling is what you could refer to as a guilty conscience. Many critics like Barack Obama and Rep Luis Gutierrez (D-IL) simply want illegal invaders to be left alone unless they commit crimes. They forget that entering illegally is a crime. The real issue is that this Arizona law will keep illegal invaders from coming into the country and many will and have gone home.

The basic challenge of the Obama administration is that immigration is a federal matter and that it is not legal for the state to make separate laws. This is basically invoking the Supremacy Clause. This is crap because there have been cases that show the state and local forces can inquire about immigration status. This law is not a new law and mirrors the federal law that is not being enforced. Further the lawsuit mentions nothing about the Sanctuary Cities that thumb their nose at federal law and do not cooperate with authorities as required by law. Attorney General Holder and disgrace to the USA Obama gloss over this saying "it's not as bad". If you want to enforce the law you enforce them all not just the ones you want to in order to pander to the Latino vote.

Arizona's side of the debate is that the federal government is not doing their job and the law mirrors federal law so there is no issue. Further Barack Hussein Obama was asked for six thousand National Guardsmen to be deployed to the border to secure it and fight the drug violence and stop it from spilling over. Obama agreed to send 1,200 and made it clear they were not there to prevent illegal invaders from coming into the country but just to fight drug violence. A majority of Americans favor troops at our border. It should come as no surprise that illegal invader supporters do not want them there since it would result in less illegal invaders getting into the country.

As I said the motion to save our country did fail. Only five brave democrats stood up for their country and voted to block the lawsuit. Those five democrats were Blanch Lincoln and Mark Pryor of Arkansas, Matt Baucus and John Tester of Montana, and Ben Nelson of Nebraska. All of these democrats voted for Obamacare and thus really have ticked people off. Blanche Lincoln is pretty much out the door in Arkansas and if Nelson or Pryor were up for election they would be as well, but they are not running this year. The following are the 55 senators who, in my opinion, committed treason against the United States and its citizens by blocking this amendment and allowing funding for this lawsuit.

Mike Johanns (R-NE) one of two republicans to vote against the measure. I am very surprised he voted against it. He is often very conservative and favors America.

George Voinovich (R-OH) he is usually decent but does forget who he represents periodically.

Daniel Akaka (D-HI)

Mark Begich (D-AK) this guy should not even be in the Senate. He does not vote the wishes of Alaska and he barley won while the Republican opponent had charges later dropped against him. He is definitely a one term senator.

Michael Bennett (D-CO) he is running this year and in a tight race

Jeff Bingaman (D-NM) his state allows illegal invaders licenses so I am not surprised.

Barbara Boxer (D-CA) she is in a state burdened by illegal invaders and in a tough reelection battle. This vote might cost her.

Sherrod Brown (D-OH)

Roland Burris (D-IL) He was appointed by a governor facing corruption charges and holding a seat that used to be occupied by Mr. Socialist himself Barack Hussein Obama.

Maria Cantwell (D-WA)

Ben Cardin (D-MD)

Thomas Carper (D-DE) this guy actually sent out a letter saying his is vehemently opposed to amnesty and wants more border agents and the fence completed.

Bob Casey jr, (D-PA)

Kent Conrad (D-ND) He does not run again until 2012, but he has a couple votes like this and Obamacare to answer for.

Chris Dodd (D-CT) he is so unpopular he is not running because any republican would have beaten him. Another democrat will probably win in the election though.

Byron Dorgan (D-ND) He decided not to run in 2010 despite saying he would seek another term. He claims he believes he would win and is not retiring because he is afraid to lose. I think he knows standing with Obama instead of America is not popular in his state.

Richard Durbin (D-IL)

Russell Feingold (D-WI) he is in a tough reelection fight as well.

Diane Feinstein (D-CA) she is not running but see Sen. Boxer for California.

Al Franken (D-MN) this guy won by less than 1000 votes and many of those were from people who were not allowed to vote

This amendment should have passed and everyone who voted against it is a disgrace to the nation and broke their oath of office. I encourage everyone to remember in November when these people are up for reelection. If they are not up this year remember the next time they are up.
