Libertarian Presidential Candidate Endorses Ron Paul
70% of LP Membership Are Backing Paul for President
Kubby said he isn't a Republican and has never been one, and he maintains that the Libertarian Party is still the best avenue to promote liberty and freedom in the United States and in our politics. He said," but sometimes a special situation comes along." That "special situation" is Ron Paul.
Over 70% of LP membership in recent polling, would be willing to cross party lines, for a chance to see Paul win the Republican nomination and the Presidency. LP members only gave their candidate Steve Kubby, 3%.
Factors, such as the party polling, Ron Paul's media attention, and his rise in campaign funds, are reasons why Kubby decided to back Paul.
Kubby says he'll still run for President of the LP until Ron Paul wins the Republican nomination at which time he says he'll withdraw, ask the party to nominate "None of the Above" at its national convention, and work as a volunteer on Paul's general election campaign. He also would urge the Libertarian Party to do the same, if Paul won.
Ron Paul amazingly continues to gain support from many sides of the political spectrum here in America. He might likely get the same kind of support from the Constitution Party if he were to win the nomination, some conservatives have speculated.
At the Constitution Party website they have an overview of all the Republican candidates entitled "A Constitutionalist's View of the GOP Presidential Hopefuls" were they claim Ron Paul is the "best they've got" among the 10 candidates running, and/or some who haven't announced they're running yet.
A few months ago, I visited the Constitution Party website, and noticed they were polling for a candidate for President and had Ron Paul in it, and guess what, he was winning in that poll.
I wouldn't be surprised if Paul did receive support from the Constitution Party ,as he has from Libertarians. After all, Paul himself proclaimed and has established through his political career the well deserving title, the "Champion of the Constitution".
For 9 out of 10 Americans who still believe the Constitution is relevant today, Ron Paul is the lone fighter who hasn't ran from the fight to preserve those sacred rule of laws.
It made sense to me months ago after hearing Paul's views, that every political party or individuals who love and care about the founding principles of America would see clearly who really has respect for the Constitution, as our guide to preserving Liberty for all, and for many to experience the fullness of liberty for generations to come.
Im sure Paul, with his humble approach at spreading the message of freedom, will continue to draw those who truly long for the day we honor freedom again.

Post a CommentI always admired the fervor of Ron Paul's supporters, disagree with them as I may.
I agree with Ron Paul - Abolish the Federal Reserve
Today in August 2007, the world financial systems and investment markets, real estate and the availability of credit are all under direct assault due to past actions of the Federal Reserve in the United States.
