The Senses
The reason for your visit here is not yet known. Soon you begin to learn how to make new sounds, and get what you want in a round about way. Quickly you begin to grow and learn that life is about the enjoyment of the five senses, so you learn to relish in them.
As puberty arrives you get another boost in your senses, and this one is all about the opposite sex. The ego quickly springs into effect as everything now is about your appearance, and also how you're perceived by others. Now your days are spent experiencing as much as you can, and making sure that everyone else also sees you.
Days seem to last for an eternity as you get three days worth of experience out of one single day. Tomorrow is usually never on your mind, only this single moment in time. Usually do you ever look back at what you've done in the day, and think about the consequences of your actions.
Personal Goals
Time passes by like always and the years quickly begin to fade away. Now perhaps if you're lucky enough, you've found someone to share your life with as another stage of your emotional development is beginning. You begin to notice how others are affected by love and dislike, and you begin to form opinions in your mind.
What you once thought was the most important things in life, are now hardly ever thought of. Even the roads you once traveled over and over are seldom taken anymore. Now your goals in life are suddenly changing, what happened? Somewhere along the line you matured and left the "old you" behind in the dust of time.
Just what you strived to get for so long, is now not so important anymore. Now you've crossed another crossroad in the scheme of life, and time is again on your mind. Time to do and get what you want out of life, and time to prove to others and yourself who you really are.
Mental Clarity
Watching your children grow you begin to realize that you're not of this world, you're just passing through like a stranger in the night. Now you begin to realize that life is a journey, and not an over night trip. You begin to wonder if you've packed all of your emotional belongings to complete this trip of life. Will you make it to the end of life unscaved and unhurt, or will there be unseen troubles along the way?
Your children grow and mature as your parents pass away. Now you're an orphan in the mid-stream of life. No one is left to call and ask for advice anymore, so you make due on your own. But you're really never alone, it only seems that way.
Wisdom
Now you must complete the journey with just what your parents left you. That is if you paid any attention to the advice they gave you. You soon realize that you've just turned into your parents, and so the cycle of life starts all over again. Now you know exactly what love is, because you've felt it torn away from you as loved ones passed to the next stage of their own journeys.
The journey of life takes another turn as you begin to feel your age. Now your time is spent mostly in your mind, not your body. This is where the journey begins to get a little rocky at times. Some decisions that were made long ago begin to return to haunt and trouble your mind.
Did you do the best that you could have? Did you also make the right sacrifices for your family, and did you leave your children enough wisdom and courage to complete their journey in life? Now you realize that life is all about sharing love, and family.
Letting Go
Some of your friends start to pass away, and soon you begin to wonder about your own immortality. Now it seems like you're coming to the end of the journey, but did you also remember to make all the right stops along the way? Did you stop and smell the roses, or give a kind smile or a helping hand to a stranger when it was needed the most?
Finally you realize that life is not the end of the road, or even a final destination; it's only the beginning. When one door closes another one opens, so now you take a long hard look at the next door of the journey.
Is this the right door for you, or is it just another stop along the way? The wisdom you gained in this life teaches you that things happen for a reason, but you're not quite ready yet for the next leg of your journey.
As you end this part of your life your body begins to give out, and the mind begins to weaken. You realize now that this part of the journey is for you to take alone. Your third dimensional mind tells you that you're alone, but your heart tells you something completely different. You close your eyes as this life ends and feel a peaceful overwhelming sense of love.
A beautiful light surrounds you as you release your mind and flow into the light. Then a warm familiar feeling of love encompasses you as you leave your Earthly shell. Now you're free and completely surrounded by love as your mind begins to replay what you did in this life.
Then the sound of a heartbeat fills your ears as you feel a warm sense of security. Now a baby's cry fills the room as another cycle of life begins, just where the last one left off.
