Life in the Moment

A.M. Morgan
I live in music
A song can emulate different transitions of my life

I live in art
It paints a portrait of the beauty of life

I live in dance as I search to find a rhythm;
I just keep on moving and my body makes the final decision

I live in intelligence
But sometimes I am rebel without a cause

I live in emotion
Sometimes I smile while my heart frowns

I live in race and gender
But they are only details of my face revealing my ancestry

I live to find happiness and to love who I am
Despite the ills of the world that surround me

I live,

You live

We live

And we are all one under the sun

It's our individuality that defines us when it's all said and done

I felt like the wind blowing through someone's hair who just neeeded a caress from the breeze on a cool afternoon to sooth a part of their soul. The sun was setting, and the night grew near, but at that moment they knew freedom was not only near but here, right now, in this moment........Thank you. You stirred a part of my soul that had to be released in this moment. Great expression, it exudes the spirit of freedom.

Our individuality is what separates us from the standard of everyday living.
