Life for Us

Catch me in some of the worse places,

Seeing some of the meanest faces,

Every one of these guys got cases,

Not even twenty years old yet,

I feel old,

The TV and the Music got the youth sold,

Sold on being something their not,

That's why I stay to myself,

I try to help lead them in the right direction,

But where they live is in the wrong direction,

It's not the wrong place,

It's just the wrong pace,

This race is not for the weak,

But it's not for the stupid either,

Life for us can be a challenge,

But trust in God and all you can do is manage what you have,

Live your dreams to the best of your ability and fight everyday,

In this life that's the only way to make a way.
