In a difficult relationship with her boyfriend, she battles between the life of a college student and a complicated home life. The yelling and fighting, miscommunications make it hard for her to concentrate on her school work. She pushes through her first couple of semesters on the edge of her seat.
A break up was bound to happen, but not the way she had expected. Sitting in her first period class she gets a text message stating; I think we should take a break from each other for at least 6 months or more. Infuriated by this message, she begins to cry and leaves the class room to head home. Replying back to the text message, as she drives in rage. There is no such thing as a break for 6 months or even a brake at all for that matter. It's over, there will be no break.
Reaching her home, she decides she cannot stay there and begins packing all her things. Realizing just then she has no place to go. She calls her father and explains the situation and he willing lets her stay with him at his house. Embarrassed at the face that she has to move back home after being on her own for a few years she looks for a second job to help her get back on her feet.
Struggling to make it at this new job, she decides it is not for her and quits. Juggling to jobs and going to school had taken a toll on her body, and mind.
A child hood friend calls her and says she needs a night out and takes her to a concert. Not wanting to go she almost cancels but decides to just go and try to enjoy herself.
Getting there she feels so uncomfortable and wants to leave. Then an old friendly face appears to her through the darkness and says "So you are too good to say high to me now?" Realizing who it was she gives him a hug and begins chatting. He goes on his way and she feels uncomfortable once again.
He texts her and says let's get out of here! Little did she know this was the beginning to a long lasting relationship, one that she had secretly wanted with this man for a very long time.
They begin dating and to their surprise, the birth control failed and whoops, they are pregnant after only being together 2 months!
Now attending college while being pregnant, a very hard battle to fight. Being sick and nauseated every morning and throughout most of the day.
Her grades where slipping a bit and was struggling to concentrate. Somehow with the support of her new boyfriend she makes it through another semester. Out of nowhere her boyfriend asks her to marry him and she says yes! A new chapter in her life, engaged and pregnant!
She is still in college when she has the baby but decides to take a semester off to recuperate from giving birth and spend some time with her newborn son.
The time has come for her to go back to school she has to put him into a day care. He screams every time she takes him there. Its breaks her heart and she cries every time.
Her fiancees mother offers to watch him half the school week so he doesn't have to go into a day care all the time. This at the time seemed like a wonderful idea. Later on it turned into a battle over control over decision making regarding the baby.
Dealing with having to take her son to day care as well as fighting with her fiancees mother she still finishes her schooling.
A new graduate, as well as a new mother she is feeling a little bit depressed and angry that not many people have acknowledged her accomplishment of graduating from college.
Getting very upset and mad she begins to trash talk some family members for not putting her into consideration.
Her mother realizes this and decides to throw a surprise graduation party for her!
Arriving at the place of her surprise party, thinking they were looking at it for their son's birthday party she enters the room and sees everyone she loves staring at here and then hears surprise! She stares blankly at all of them, in complete shock! Not knowing what to do! Her mother comes over gives her a hug and says welcome to your graduation party! She lost it and began to cry out of joy!
Her mother then said, you've overcome so many obstacles in the last year, and still graduated from college. That shows me and everyone that if you put your mind to something and really want it, you will secede! Congratulations!
