All my lIfe
I've worked and slaved,
I've been proud and
I've been brave.
I've worked and slaved,
I've been proud and
I've been brave.
I've conquered demons
Inside and out,
And asked myself;
What is this life I live
All about?
Answers come
in many small ways,
the laugh of a child
or a lovers gaze.
A friendly smile from
neighbors and friends,
A helping hand now and then.
I question myself with
always the same answer;
This life you live
is not yours alone.
So share a smile or
a knowing gaze,
And help another along
this life maze.
