Life's Truths + Fate's Role

Any Questions?

It is amazing the mental and physical trials a human being can endure. Those that are unable to deal with these very imposing obstacles usually slowly wither away from life and their candles go out. Then there are those that endure and endure until something major finally breaks and they end their life or it is ended for them. Either way it is the end of everything for them.

These people don't have to be necessarily immoral or undeserving. They can be people who have overcome the difficulties of growing up, children, and life partners. They can have strived to right the wrongs they have done and repair the mistakes they have made through life, but still end up with the short end of the stick anyway. Many people who have not even thought about fixing past mistakes and finding forgiveness for their mortal sins, will more often then not, get everything to go their way in life, like money, friends, life partners, etc. God has told us that to be one of his children you will suffer persecution, difficulties in life, and nothing will ever be easy in life. Here is another ironic conclusion; Those who preach this are very often of the latter, peaceful, financially stable, and accepting of their life, although, all around them people are slipping into debt, depression, hopelessness, and misery. But there are some people who have been pulled off their pedestal of life stability and had to swim in the sewer with the rest of us, and have either gotten back on top or still struggle to climb out. These people can truthfully preach about the difficulties in life and offer a hand up to our Lord Jesus.

In many churches though, the members are very stiff backed and judgmental of those that are poor financially and can only give their time and labor to the church. This is why churches fail to bring in very many faithless and financially challenged people. They may have many church events to benefit new or prospective members, but that welcome is very soon worn out and these prospective members fall back and disappear back into the writhing mass of everyday life for the majority of the world. And resentment wins the day, as usual, on both sides. The long time church members complain of the sacrifices that are forced on them by the government to provide financially for the less fortunate members of society. They see them as parasites that are lazy and refuse to stand on their own feet. On the other hand, there is resentment of the more gifted and privileged people too. Most low income people look at the happiness and seemingly little effort that the richer people of the world enjoy and they feel that life is unfair.

Life is unfair. It doesn't matter if you are a good and moral person or a very vain and conceited person; you will get what you get period. You can strive to do better but if you miss the first bus, you are not going to catch the second one 98% of the time. That's all there is to it. , Whether bad or good, fate is what it is. Hopefully, if you don't end your life on purpose, you will get to Heaven and to all your rewards that are promised by God our Father. That is what Christianity teaches. What Christianity fails to impart, although it is ordered in the Bible, that you are not to judge others. That is a very serious human weakness that cannot be overcome for long. We get little peaks of generosity and acceptance, but it never is permanent.

I, personally, have been one of those people who have made bad choices in life as a youth, and have striven to correct them for the sake of my child and his future. That has been my job for the last 17.5 years of my life. Unfortunately, it was not enough to get me back on the first bus. I am now a divorced middle aged person who has gotten to the end of my rope. I'm clinging to the frayed edges in frustration. Fate has done what it will do with me and will continue this course for my life until the bitter end. I have seen hope, and have clung to it too. But it, very frequently, dissolves in my hands. I still attempt to reach the goal of life's fulfillment, with a glimmer of hope always in sight. I will continue to desperately cling to life for however long I am on this Earth. You may read this article of opinion and think how depressing and negative a person I must be, but it doesn't matter what you think or what I think for that matter. Everything will be as it will be, with or without any help from us. Life is a highway, but also a rollercoaster of ups and downs, good and bad.
