Allowing the Option to Choose when You Want to Get Pregnant

If a woman doesn't want to get pregnant at a period of time in her life, or just simply wants to delay having a child for a while she has a few options.

Of course there are the normal ways of preventing pregnancy before you truly want a child or children, these
being, abstinence and protected sex or birth control. Now one may even be unsure on how to use, or get birth control to even start preventing the risk of pregnancy.

There are many options out in the world for you. 1-800 numbers, free clinics, classes, you just have to do the research! Worried about someone finding out about it, don't be all of those options have a very strict confidentiality law. They will not repeat any of the information you release to them. If you really have no Idea on how to contact a place like this I will list a few for you.

1. Planned Parent Hood

- The website offers a lot of information, I would suggest going on and doing some research. If you don't have access to a computer, go to your local library and log on there.

Abstinence would be a woman's best choice when delaying her choice to have a baby, but birth control is a great second choice.

If a woman wants to have a child and/or wants one but wants to have a time period and it all planned out, there are many ways she can do so.

Studies have shown the better health a woman is in, the better chance she has to get pregnant. This includes mental and physical health.

1. Exercise every other day.

- Exercise about 4 times a week for a half hour. Walking is a great way to accomplish this!

2. Avoid being stressed out or being in stressful situations.

- The more relaxed you are while you are trying to conceive the better. You stress hormones interact with your ovulation hormones and can cause a bad result.

- Men's stress can also affect the ability to get pregnant! When a man is stressed, it lowers the amount of testosterone in his body!

- Keep your Man calm and relaxed!

3. Prohibit the use of tobacco and consuming a large amount of alcohol.

- Practice for when you will actually have the baby.

- Tobacco isn't good for the conception of a baby, if possible try to cut down on the smoking.

- As far as the alcohol, a glass of wine or two won't hurt but I wouldn't go any further than that.

4. Don't use recreational drugs

- Women who smoke marijuana regularly secrete small amounts of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) in their vaginal fluid and also have trace amounts present in their reproductive organs.

- This THC will cause a man's sperm to over stimulate and slow down when it comes time to approach the egg and there for the ability for conception is almost impossible.
