A Musical Celebration of Black History - "From the Cotton Fields to the Cotton Club"

Providence Christian Center, a nondenominational church in Florissant, MO is proud to present a special evening in celebration of Black History Month, and all are welcome to attend.
The event entitled, "From the Cotton Fields to the Cotton Club" will feature a collaboration of talented vocalists, musicians and dancers, and these gifted artists will come together for a night of fun, food and fellowship as The Voices of Providence present, "From the Cotton Fields to the Cotton Club", a sound and dance revolution depicting the musical journey of African American people from the 1700's to the civil rights era.
This exciting event will feature fabulous musicians, choral presentations, soloists and african dance in representation of the history of African Americans, with specific detail to the history and groove of African American gospel and musical styles. Dinner will be served immediately following the presentation for a full evening of fun, praise and entertainment.
"From the Cotton Fields to the Cotton Club" is being held on Saturday, February 26, 2011 at 5pm, and tickets are only $20 per person. Providence Christian Center is located at 14700 New Halls Ferry Road, (two blocks west of Lindbergh in the Bethel Church building) in Florissant, MO.
