Light a candle
for the homeless
who got no homes,
no food, no bed
to lay their weary bodies on.
Light a candle
for the murdered children
and for the abused children
who got no chance in this world.
Light a candle
for the aborted babies
who had no chance
and no hope
to live in this world.
Light a candle
for the poor people
who struggled day by day
barely getting by.
Light a candle
for the handicap people
who longed to have a chance
at living a normal life
as much as possible.
