In the midst of my holiday break, I've been spending a lot of time relaxing at home with my family. We're also getting ready to host a big New Years Eve party tomorrow.

I've actually spent more time than that combined playing a game I have for my PC, called Bowl Bound College Football. It's a college football sports simulation, by Grey Dog Sports, where you step in as the head coach/main man of a college team. Think you can take your alma mater to the National Championship? You recruit, coach, and build your players up to become stars on their college rosters. Pick assistants to match your coaching style, and with every win, watch your prestige increase.

The recruiting aspect of the game is deep, and you'll find yourself concentrating greatly on the players you bring into your program. Personally, I like to focus on players that fit the run-and-gun scheme of my USC team. Real rosters are not included, but you can get add on packs that add in real NCAA logos, to bring a new realization to the game.

This is not a sales plug by any means, but I highly recommend you go pick yourself up a copy of this game. You won't regret it. It is easily one of the best sports simulations I have ever played, and I've played it actively ever since I bought it back in 2006.

The website for the game is http://www.greydogsoftware.com

Happy holidays, and I'll be back with a regular daily posting in January!
