NeNe Leakes decided to do the task exactly as the ACN reps guidelines suggested. They wanted something that showcased family and had emotion. Lil Jon, on the other hand, decided to step outside the box and create a commercial that was funny, risky, and targeted to a specific demographic of people; the GLBT community. The ACN reps loved both commercials but in a very close vote, the boys team of BACKBONE took the win.
Lil Jon received $20,000 from Donald Trump for his charity of choice, The United Methodist Children's Home of the North Georgia Conference. Jon's charity will also receive $20,000 from ACN for a total of $40,000 that will be used to help educate, heal, and provide care for children from infancy to adulthood.
In a crazy twist to events on "Celebrity Apprentice", Lil Jon's team discussed how much trust they had in one another and how good of a project leader the young rapper was while NeNe Leakes broke down in tears. Her teammates said it was because she really wanted to win but it was apparent that Leakes was upset with Dionne Warwick for not supporting her as project manager with the rest of the team when she bailed to go home and the rest of the team stayed to edit the commercial for ACN.
Donald Trump questioned Dionne Warwick but then Warwick challenged the host of the show to fire her. It took a few minutes with some sniping between the women, a little justified cattiness from Star Jones, and a non-committal attitude from Warwick before Trump told Dionne, "You're Fired!".
Lil Jon took a risk, his team trusted him and he managed them well. That is why he didn't have to hear Trump's firing message. The women's team needs to get their act together and form a bond like the mens team if they want to win money for their respective charities.

Post a CommentGreat tv report.
Interesting. Dione gets criticised by Don Jr. and the Donald then fired because she left before the editing of the commercial was done. But.... Joan Rivers literally walked off and quit a previous SHOW and was the season winner after Donald begged her to return. Hmmm. All in the name of ratings and Donald's presonal preferrence me thinks.
thanks for the recap! :)
I keep forgetting to watch.
