The Washington Daily News of Washington County North Carolina also reported on the cheerleader on August 26, 2008. The article highlighted her visit to the Washington County Recreation Cheerleading Camp with her fellow teammate Kayla Patterson. They visited Plymouth high School on Friday, August 22, 2008 to sign autographs and take pictures for girls between the ages of 6 and 15 whom were attending cheerleading camp. The same time they were there several football players were also onsite for local boys. Lilly has tried out for and made the team for the past three years where she practices a grueling twelve hours a week and this year is a co-captain. The cheerleaders perform at halftime shows, pre-games show and perform end zone dances for 75,000 Dolphin fans.
In addition to the visit to North Carolina, Lilly has made a trip to the Middle East to visit the troops in Iraq and did promotional work in London when they Dolphins played there last year. The cheerleaders also participate in the Dolphins Make-a-wish foundation. Lilly also made it into Maxim Magazine in 2006 during her first year as a Miami Dolphins cheerleader.
Despite her good deeds and spread in the magazine, Web site www.sportsbybrooks.com notes that the Maxim spread is highly airbrushed and even though he still considers her "cute" she is by no means the strikingly beautiful vixen that appears in the spread. However, to the average man I think the reaction can best be described by this quote from the NFL blog http://www.nfljuice.com
"Hi Lilly! Group hug. Whoa, soft and squishy. Likey. Lilly is a Miami Dolphin Cheerleader featured in Maxim. She looks playful and naughty."
