once upon a free and expansive Constitution
founders prescribed against all types of prostitution
Jefferson and Jackson mistrusted big banks and amendments
their progeny muzzled our heroes and farms, amended the commandments
and Wall Street unleashed bedlam, and we have become ONE Institution!

Post a CommentThanks Bridgitte Willaims and Kristie Leong, MD. I will make sure I visit your wonderful writing too ... though GOOD FRIDAY is busy and I intend (Lord Willing) to make a church visit during lunch today. Shalom/Peace

thanks Patricia/3lilangels and HEATHER Carreiro. I appreciate the comments and updates... and this limerick would be more enjoyable to me personally had the Wall Street folks been treated as the auto execs and companies are being treated. or perhaps precisely because they are treated differently, my limerick is appropritae? I am confused now... SHalom/Easter blessings
how cool really liked this!
I'm enjoying this limerick competition. Thanks for your comment on my Travel Tips article. I haven't been writing as much, not because of security but because I've only got two months left to finish a number of curriculum development projects AND get my whole house packed up, sold off, etc. : )
thanks LYNN; my reading of history convinces me this is what happened -- democracy and Jefferson were both modified (perhaps somewhat mollified!) Peace/Joy/Celebrate
"...amended the Commandments..." you nailed the fall of US economy literally to the "WALL" street!
