Limited Edition Hershey Kisses- Pumpkin Spice
This is No Candy! it Tastes like Pumpkin Pie!
Mass merchandise stores have already managed to put me in an early fall mood with their Halloween set ups, displays, and best of all their collections of Halloween candy.
One particular candy that caught my eye this weekend goes to Hershey Kisses new limited edition fall flavors. One flavor being Pumpkin Spice, and the other Candy Corn.
Todays focus is on Pumpkin Spice.
Packaging:
Finding Hershey Kisses Pumpkin Spice was pretty easy, it is located right next to the other Hershey Kiss bags, only this bag has a burnt brown coloring to it, with a cartoon drawing of a pumpkin. The bag also clearly reads Pumpkin Spice.
Appearance:
Pumpkin Spice unwrapped from it's mini orange and black foil packaging looks like its actually a peanut butter Hershey Kiss. It has a light burnt orange color to it. When you bite into it, you come to an ultra creamy white center.
Taste:
Immediately after unwrapping the candy from its foil you can smell a very subtle cinnamon scent coming off of it. I popped the kiss into my mouth and was surprised at how smooth this particular kiss was. Other Hershey Kisses usually have a 'bite' me texture to it. Pumpkin Spice though seriously melts in your mouth, and holy heaven it tastes just like a little slice of pumpkin pie. The smooth texture adds to that whole feeling that you are eating a slice of pumpkin pie.
It truly is delicious, more like a baked gourmet good, than a piece of candy. There is no other way to describe it, but to call it a speck of pumpkin pie.
Fat:
The Candy Corn Hershey Kisses I reviewed earlier were quite high in fat, at 12 grams in just 9 kisses. Pumpkin Spice is also no exception. The way I see it though, so long as you are not oinking out on the whole bag, you should be alright.
Pumpkin Spice though, does contain 13 grams of fat in just 9 kisses. So limit yourself.
Overall:
New Limited Edition Pumpkin Spice Hershey Kisses are delicious, they are more like eating small splices of the delicious warm baked pumpkin pie, than they are a candy treat.

Hershey Kisses Pumpkin Spice is a must have treat for those who love pumpkin pie. You will not be disappointed in this one. At only $2.49 a bag you can't beat it!

Post a CommentA co-worker brought in the Hershey pumpkin kisses. I had never seen them before. They were delicious and very rich. If you like pumpkin pie and cheese cake you would probably like them. I would guess they have a white chocolate base since they are the color of pumpkin pie. I am hoping Hershey puts them out next Halloween. I loved them, all three that I had.
They can be found at Target - problem is that they sell out quickly. Last week, they were on sale 2/$5.

if anyone finds a store that still has the pumpkin spice hershey kisses please post as soon as possible if you would. i've checked walmart,cvs,and meijer
The pumpkin spice hershey kisses and the candy corn kisses are the bomb. They should sell these all year round.
I have seen them every time I stop in my local Walmart, or Target. Check the Halloween candy isle. In my store they also line them up on the shelves right before the check out lines. They are gooood. Its a flavor I hope they keep around.. or at least bring back every fall.
I have been to 10 stores..no lie and I can't find it! I am going out of my mind.
These are the most disgusting Hershey kisses I have ever had!!! I threw them away! Very Disapointing!!
