Brief Clerihew Tutorial: The clerihew was invented by Eric Clerihew Bentley (1875-1956). A clerihew is a quatrain with lines of irregular length, normally a humorous take on a person, and has an aabb rhyme scheme. The last two lines are normally longer than the first two. The first line normally just includes the person's name. The rhymes are often contrived, which is okay!
