The untruths and lies are what I hate

But this time was different. It caught my eye.

I sat up and listened. I cannot lie.

I was sitting at home late last night

On the television, an unusual site

Linda McMahon was on the stage

She wanted to lower the minimum wage

She spoke of students exiting the state

She wanted to stop them before too late.

Most students working for minumum wage

would leave after hearing Linda on stage

She changed her mind in the next debate

when speaking of students leaving the state

She would not lower the minimum wage

A poor performance on the stage.

Flip flop, flip flop,

she's climbing the wall

too many flip flops and she may fall

Too callous, too cold, her philosophy too old

Profit before people, her story well told.
