Hoping to show Lindsay Lohan he isn't impressed with her disregard for the legal system, Beverly Hills Judge Eldon Fox had the actress arrested at her hearing today and sent her back to jail without bail until her next hearing on October 22nd. With a shocked look on her face a bailiff handcuffed the 24-year-old and escorted her to a waiting police car.

The return to the Lynwood Correctional Facility for a mandatory 30-day stay is a serious wake-up call to Lindsay, and the Judge has promised not to let her out early this time either, telling her she will serve the entire time until next month when a formal probation hearing will be held to determine her future.

Lindsay Lohan's arrest today stems from two failed court-ordered drug tests she took three weeks ago and last week. Lohan used her official twitter account to tweet a confession of the failed drug tests to fans and the media, while also explaining, "Substance abuse is a disease, which unfortunately doesn't go away over night. I am working hard to overcome it and am taking positive steps."

Lindsay Lohan had originally been released from jail on August 2nd after serving only 13 days of a 90 day jail sentence after her SCRAM ankle bracelet alerted authorities she had been drinking after being warned not to or face jail time. After serving her jail time Lindsay was quietly moved to a UCLA Ronald Regan drug and alcohol rehab center. Her stay in the rehab center was originally slated for 30 days, but she was released after three weeks when staff wrote to the Judge indicating they didn't believe she was an addict.

After being made aware of the two failed drug tests Judge Fox revoked Lindsay Lohan's probation this past Monday and issued a bench warrant for her arrest. The bench warrant allowed the actress to stay a free woman until her hearing today. Many experts spoke out on morning talk shows Friday morning expressing doubt Lohan would go back to jail.

Lindsay's parents Dina and Michael Lohan were reportedly supposed to show up to support their daughter. Prior to the hearing today Dina Lohan had threatened to have her ex-husband Michael arrested for violating a restraining order if he showed up with Youth Pastor Jay Koopman, who wanted to speak directly to Lindsay to give her spiritual advice.

There was no word whether Michael Lohan challenged his ex-wife's threat and came within 100 yards of her today.
