Lindsay Lohan is Going to Jail

Lindsay Lohan is going to jail. Yeehee. Finally. I can't believe it took this long for this to happen. I mean surely there is no lawyer that could lose this case. Ted from "Scrubs" could even win this case.

Wait a minute. You are telling me there is a chance she might not go to jail. You are saying that she could go to rehab, again, and be able to get the charges lessened. I cannot fathom the judge that would allow this to happen.

Let me calm down and regroup here. Ok, so the evidence shows that she was arrest for DWI for at least the second time. I don't know about California, but here in North Carolina that is a pretty big no-no. I mean the first time they put one of those annoying blowers on your car and take away full driving privileges.

Wait, come to think about it, she also had cocaine in her purse. Since the beginning of time, cocaine has been illegal in this country. And we are not talking about jaywalking illegal, we are talking about hard time in the federal penitentiary illegal. I mean this mountain of evidence I am finding here is just unbelievable.

All of this sounds like a slam dunk case for a lawyer that wants a little publicity. Funny thing is that the ones who will be getting all the publicity will be Lohan and her attorney. I am sure every trashy newspaper and evening digest show will be covering how they plan on getting the charges lessened.

Why has there been no public outcry to send her to jail? Why does everyone seem to keep pulling for her on her numerous trips to rehab? I know we need to be understanding people but eventually some people just need to get what is coming to them. And the only thing coming to Lindsay should be a 6X6 cell with three meals a day. No cable TV or tennis courts out back, I am talking actual jail.

You can call me jealous or insensitive but it is frustrating watching celebrities continually wiggle their way out of trouble just because of who they are. As a law abiding American, I wonder what my motivation for obeying the law is. Can I do anything I want and not worry about the consequences? Hell no, they would throw me in jail so fast it would turn your stomach.

I am not saying we should not give all people second chances but no the third or fourth try, I tend to think maybe this person needs the jail time.

I am looking for something but have no clue what it is. I want to do everything and nothing at the same time. I am about as scatter brained as they come.  View profile

I liked your article. I think that jail should be a last resort for drug users, whether they are celebrities or not. Lindsey Lohan is beyond her last resort. It's jail that will get her straightened up, let alone getting out of Los Angeles for a long time.
