Lindsay Lohan was taken into custody after turning herself in at the Beverly Hills courthouse Tuesday morning. The actress arrived to surrender for her 90 day jail sentence roughly seven minutes late, walking briskly into the courthouse at 8:37 a.m. PST. As Lindsay Lohan walked up the walkway toward the front door of the courthouse, someone threw confetti at her. The actress ducked slightly as the burst of glitter surprised her, but didn't miss a step. LiLo strode quickly inside and began the standard courthouse security screening.

LiLo chose conservative attire for her court date on Tuesday (July 20). The actress wore a gray top, a fitted jacket and jeans as she prepared to head to jail. Her hair was loose and straight, and she looked alert but not well-rested. Bags under Lindsay's eyes gave away her likely sleepless night. Once inside the courtroom of Judge Marsha Revel, cameras again picked up Lindsay Lohan as she turned herself in to begin her jail sentence at Lynwood Correctional Facility. "The defendant is now remanded into custody to serve the 90-day jail sentence," the judge declared, less than fifteen minutes after Lindsay Lohan entered the building. Throughout the July 20 hearing, Lindsay Lohan was quiet and attentive, though she still maintained a slight deer-in-headlights look in her eyes. Cameras were then turned off to spare her the humiliation of being cuffed for all the world to see.
